The Dashboard is where a project opens. It pulls the headline number from each area of Surnex into one screen, so you can see what changed without visiting six pages.

Stat cards

The four are deliberately from different systems: rank tracking, backlinks, AI search, and GEO. Each updates on its own collection schedule, so they won’t all be from the same moment. Avg Position excludes keywords that don’t rank at all, so it can improve when a keyword falls out of the top 100 entirely. Read it alongside the distribution bar below rather than on its own.

Ranking Distribution

A single stacked bar showing how your tracked keywords are spread across position bands: The bands are exclusive, so the segments sum to your total tracked keywords. Hover a segment for its label and count. The shape matters more than any single number. A bar dominated by Not Ranking and Top 100 means you’re tracking keywords you’re not competitive for yet — useful as a target list, but the Avg Position figure above will be misleading, since it only averages the minority that rank.

Recent Audits

The latest site audits with their scores and status. Empty state: No audits yet — “Run a site audit to see results”. Because audits don’t run on a schedule, this panel is the quickest way to notice your last crawl was months ago.

Top Movers

Keywords whose positions changed most recently, from the same data as Position changes. Empty state: No ranking changes — “Position changes will appear here”. Empty on a new project: movement needs two rank checks to compare. Four figures from your backlink profile: Dofollow Ratio is the one to watch over time. A natural profile has a healthy mix; a ratio that’s very high or very low is worth investigating — near-total dofollow can indicate bought links, while near-total nofollow means your links aren’t passing authority.

A new project

Immediately after creating a project, most of this is empty. Panels fill in as each background job finishes — rankings within minutes, a full site audit up to an hour. You don’t need to keep the page open.
