Changing your password
There’s no change-password field in Settings → Profile — that page manages your name only. Use the password reset flow from the sign-in screen instead: request a reset link for your account email, follow it, and set a new password.Forgotten password
Same flow. Request a reset from the sign-in page, open the link sent to your email, and set a new password. You’ll need access to the mailbox for the address you signed up with.Choosing a password
Six characters is the minimum the system enforces, not a recommendation. Your Surnex account can reach every organization you belong to — including client data if you work in an agency — so use a password manager and something long.Sessions
Your session persists across tabs and browser restarts. Sign out from the user menu in the sidebar.API keys are separate
Changing your password doesn’t affect API keys. Keys authenticate as the organization, not as you, and keep working after a password change — and after your account is removed from the organization entirely. If you’re changing your password because you think your account was compromised, review the organization’s API keys too and revoke anything unfamiliar or unused.Related
