# Delete your account

> Irreversible. Deletes the organizations you solely own, removes you from the rest, and deletes the credential. Work you created survives with its attribution cleared. Refused (409 SUBSCRIPTION_ACTIVE) while one of those organizations has a subscription that will renew: cancel it first.
